She's been called the "Million Dollar Baby" by Good Morning America, and now one little newborn girl is set to receive a "very nice baby gift" from golfer and PGA Tour winner Brandt Snedeker.
When little Zoe Mahan was born last week, her pro golfer dad, Hunter Mahan, ditched the annual PGA Tour in Canada to be present for her birth in Dallas.
At the time, Snedeker was trailing Mahan by 10 shots, and the win would mean a $1 million check. Instead of continuing with the competion, Mahan left when he got a call saying his wife was in labor.
Snedeker went on to win the tournament—and the cool million.
Asked about what happened, Snedeker "told Golf Channel that he was going to use the $1 million he won wisely," according to CBSSports.com.
"Zoe will be getting a very nice baby gift from me," he said.
After all, Snedeker knows what it's like to leave a tournament for the birth of a child. When he was playing in the 2011 Honda Open, he exited the competition to attend his first daughter, Lily's, birth, according to CBSSports.com.
"It was the best decision I ever made," he said. "I'm sure Hunter would say the same thing."
