Dying Boy Plays 'Best Man' at Mom and Dad's Wedding

Terminally ill 2-year-old only has a few months left to live; but first he'll walk Mom and Dad down the aisle.

As far as Christine Swidorsky and Sean Stevenson are concerned, they just had the wedding of their dreams. In just one week, the Jeanette, Pa. couple managed to pull off an unforgettable backyard wedding with the help of family and friends. The guest of honor? Their 2-year-old son, Logan, who served as "Best Man." Sadly, though, tiny Logan has just weeks left to live.

Logan has been battling leukemia and other complications for almost as long as he's been alive. His lengthy road of difficult tests and procedures is largely what led his parents to keep pushing off their intended nuptials. But after getting a grim prognosis from doctors last month that Logan only has a matter of weeks left, the couple decided to speed up their plans so their son could be a part of it all.

All favors, food, and other wedding details were graciously donated by local vendors, ensuring that Sean and Christine could pay attention to what matters most: Logan.

As Christine told local reporters, "Family and friends came and took care of [all of the wedding planning], while we sat in the house ... spending time with [our children]. Which made it nice."

According to Yahoo! News, the little boy donned an adorable pinstripe suit just for the occasion, and dozed off and on during the ceremony while nestled on his grandmother's shoulder. His sleepiness is no doubt due to the pain medications doctors have prescribed for him, to make him feel as comfortable as possible.

Though terribly heartbreaking, Logan's story—and the determination of his family—is truly inspiring. Watch this clip to watch the emotional ceremony:
