By George, I think we've got it! The official family photo, that is.
On Monday, Prince William and his wife, Kate, released two informal photos of their new family. According to a statement from Kensington Palace, the photos were taken by Kate's father, Michael, at the Middleton family home in Bucklebury in early August. Along with Prince George and his beaming parents, one photo (after the jump) also features their retriever, Tilly, as well as their newly adopted spaniel Lupo.
"As a lot of people know who have got dogs and bringing a newborn back, they take a little bit of time to adapt, but [Lupo's] been all right so far," Prince William told CNN in his first interview since the birth of his son on July 22. "He's been slobbering around the house a bit, so he's perfectly happy."
As for how George is doing, William says he's a bit of a rascal. "He's growing quite quickly, actually. But he's a little fighter—he wriggles around quite a lot and he doesn't want to go to sleep that much."
More formal photos are expected to be released this fall, when Prince George has his christening.
