Viral Video: Dad and Daughter Duet on 'Tonight You Belong to Me'

What do you do when your child is scared awake by imaginary fireworks?

Break out the ukelele and start singing, of course!

That's exactly what 32-year-old dad—and quantum physicist—Benjamin Ames did when his 4-year-old daughter, Adelaide, said she was scared of fireworks that she kept hearing.

The two performed an adorable duet of Tonight You Belong to Me, a song written in the 1920s, with little breaks every time Adelaide said she heard fireworks.

"When I say 'Be quiet,'" she says, "that means there's a firework coming."

Her ever-patient dad, who, according to The Daily Dot, won an award for explaining science to kids, gives her a moment and gently nudges her to continue singing.

And another YouTube star is born. Cue the fireworks.

Well, maybe not.
