Royal Baby Christening Date Set

The much awaited christening of the royal baby George is almost here, and a specific date has officially been set: October 23. Everything's normal except one detail: They're making a break with tradition in this family's royal christenings.

Instead of doing the christening at Buckinham Palace, the family is choosing to christen baby Prince George at St. James Palace (Queen Elizabeth, and the brothers William and Harry were all christened at Buckingham.) The Archbishop of Canterbury, Most Reverend Justin Welby, will be performing the Christian ceremony in a private service, but the details of it are being kept hush-hush by Kensington Palace.

As to who the godparents will be? Harry and Pippa look to be even-odds favorites, according to People.
