One little boy's superhero wish is about to be granted—and in a big way, at that.
Miles, a 5-year-old boy who is battling leukemia, will get to live his dream of being "Batkid" on Nov. 15, as the Make-a-Wish foundation will give the city of San Francisco a special Gotham City makeover, according to the nonprofit's website.
And the little Batboy will be fighting all sorts of (faux) crime—with a grown-up sidekick, of course, SFGate reports.
"After rescuing a damel in distress from the Hyde St. cable car tracks in Nob Hill, and capturing the Puzzler in the act of robbing a downtown vault, Batkid will eat his lunch at the Burger Bar in San Francisco—directly above Union Square," according to Make-a-Wish.
To cap off his day, Miles will also meet up with the mayor and police chief at City Hall, where he will receive a key to the city.
Now that is one lucky kid!
The "sunny, positive little boy," as Make-a-Wish describes Miles, "finds his inspiration in super heroes."
