How Expensive Are Fertility Treatments?

The cost of fertility treatments depends on the type. Ovulation induction, artificial insemination or fertility medications cost approximately $1,000 to $2,000, according to infertility physician Shahin Ghadir of Southern California Reproductive Center. “These are very different from in vitro fertilization, which can cost between $10,000 to $15,000,” he says. In many cases, health insurance covers some of the fees associated with fertility treatments.
