Baby With Down Syndrome Follows Mom's Modeling Footsteps

Even as early as 11 months, modeling genes can reveal themselves—especially when your mom is a successful model. This is the case for little Micah Quinones, son of 26-year-old beauty Amanda Booth. But unlike most baby models, Micah has Down syndrome, which he was diagnosed with at 3 months old.

Based in Los Angeles, Booth has been in front of the camera for 10 years; her work includes Vogue Italia, Lancome, Wildfox, Target and True Religion. So, it's no surprise that Micah takes after his mother at such a young age. In the midst of her hectic schedule and taking care of her baby, she's started to capture Micah's priceless poses and faces on her Instagram, which was has over 60,000 followers. When people started to take notice of her adorable son, she created a dedicated account for Micah, which has garnered more than 30,000 followers. That's a lot for an 11-month-old!

"As soon as the camera comes out, he looks right into it," said Booth to ABC News. "Everyone says to [Micah] 'You're just like your mother.'"

Booth, who is represented by the U.K.-based modeling agency Storm Management, decided that it was a good idea to have her tiny tot join the industry. With its impressive roster that includes Kate Moss and Behati Prinsloo, Storm proves to be an amazing choice for this supermodel in the making, with his mom right by his side.

Although the diagnosis was difficult, Booth is glad that Micah is able to allow others to view Down syndrome in a different light: No matter who you are, you are still beautiful. She is excited to bring Micah to set with her and hopefully even work together.

"I feel so fortunate that the world sees the beauty that I see in my son," Booth wrote on her Facebook.
