During the Los Angeles stop of her tour last night, 33-year-old singer Kelly Clarkson announced her pregnancy with baby No. 2 during her song "Piece by Piece." The crooner, who'd gotten emotional during the performance, announced that she and her husband Brandon Blackstock are expecting.
After she kept breaking down during her song, Clarkson finally fessed up to why she was getting so emotional and shared the good news with the crowd of the sold-out show.
"I was not planning on announcing this," Clarkson told the crowd as she teared up. "I'm totally pregnant. That was not planned. I just didn't want you to think I was crazy or something. Honestly, I'm so hormonal today. Nothing's wrong. Everything's great ... I haven't vomited yet."
The last remark echoes Clarkson's difficult pregnancy with her first child, River Rose Blackstock, who was born in June 2014. A slew of health complications (including loss of voice) scared Clarkson, who became convinced that she would not be able to sing after.
Congratulations to Kelly and we hope her second pregnancy is easier!
