Baby, it's cold outside! We're pushing through the chilly months of winter by embracing the natural earthy colors of rain and cold, muddy purples and rustic brown and gold. We love days spent at home dressed in our pajamas, drawing, reading, playing board games and knitting up little gems. Here are a few of our favorite things.

  1. Saturated paintings in deepest, darkest purple. (12)
  2. Warm toned, hammered metal bowls for serving at parties. (1)
  3. Dress up with a fluffy, muted blush stole. Wear it with jeans, a T-shirt and fabulous pair of practical booties in a woodsy, cognac color that wears well with everything. (5, 6)
  4. Warm up everyone you hug with a whisper of luxurious vanilla perfume. (4)
  5. Dress up your dining room with a golden glow, perfect for all seasons. (8)
  6. Learn to knit this winter, inspired by gorgeous hand dyed yarns. Knit Witch is a good place to start. (3, 10)
  7. Roast your own delicious spiced nuts for serving in these beautiful handmade dishes. (2)
  8. Serve traditional Italian cookies with tea or coffee. (11)
  9. Layer yourself in a soft, cozy sweater. (9)
  10. Keep your hands warm and fashionable while walking the dog at 6:30 a.m. in 40 degree temperatures. (13)
  11. Bring in some warm light by using gold serving utensils. (7)
