Monique R.'s LEGO® DUPLO® Review

ADVERTORIAL

My son, Zion James, is 6 years old. We have been using LEGO® DUPLO® bricks since he was about 2 years old. Zion has Down Syndrome, and we like DUPLO bricks because playing with them helps with his occupational therapy. The large DUPLO bricks make him focus in order to use his fingers and wrist when he is placing the bricks where he wants them to be.

Zion has to especially focus in order to get the cannon in its place. He loves using the cannon as well as the Jake and Captain Hook mini-figures from his new LEGO® DUPLO® Jake's Pirate Ship Bucky set (Item# 10514). Zion often gets to imagine that he is a sailor and is trying to protect the gold. This set truly engages his imagination and helps improve his ability to create sentences and clear words while having fun too.

To buy: LEGO, $40
